Holly has finished her radiation therapy sessions, a total of fifteen sessions over three weeks. This marks the end of her major treatments, which is a huge milestone for us in her path to recovery.
She'll be continuing hormone therapy for the next five years and will have diagnostic and checkup appointments for the foreseeable future, but these will be occasional allowing us to get back to a more normal schedule at home which is a huge relief. This entire year has been such a whirlwind with hospital visits, doctors appointments and recovery time, it still hasn't really sunk in that we've made it to the finish line (for the most part).
This has been the most difficult year our family has ever faced, we can't thank all of you enough for the support and love you all have given us throughout her treatment to help keep us going.
Emery made a special sign for her to celebrate finishing her treatment.

What a wonderful milestone for you to get through!💗
It has been such an upside-down, topsy-turvy, crazy hard year for you... and we couldn't be more delighted and proud of how you have persisted through it all.
We want to say how blessed we feel that Holly's Mom & Dad (Lynn & Vic) have been so supportive in helping you get through many difficult hurdles along the way during this journey.
Love you so much - Mom & Dad, & 'second Mom & Dad' to Holly. 💞💞
So happy for you!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hurray! We will add thanksgiving to our prayers! We wish we could have been closer through all these months, but you all have never been far from our thoughts. Dan, thank you for sharing these updates. Our prayers have always been for you and the boys as well and that will continue.
With love from afar,
Aunt Carol and Uncle Steve
